TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply to anyone using the website, requesting services, submitting applications, donating, or participating in the Community Repair Program of True Grit Repairs LLC. By accessing our platform or engaging with our specialized services, you acknowledge and agree to the guidelines and operational scope defined within these terms to ensure mutual trust and community impact.

1. COMPANY OVERVIEW

True Grit Repairs LLC is an industrial home repair and consulting firm focused on high-quality residential maintenance and community uplift. We operate with a dual mission: delivering expert residential repair and restoration while fostering community resilience through our dedicated support initiatives.

2. SCOPE OF WORK

  • Provision of general home repairs, minor remodeling, and structural maintenance.
  • Professional consulting for project estimation, restoration feasibility, and industrial home assessments.
  • Delivery of assisted labor and materials for qualifying residents through the True Grit Community Repair Program, as resources permit.
  • All requested work is subject to safe and feasible working conditions determined by our team.

5. TRUE GRIT COMMUNITY REPAIR PROGRAM

The True Grit Community Repair Program is designed to provide essential home repairs for individuals and families in our community who may not have the financial means to address critical safety issues. Participation in this program is subject to:

  • Eligibility verification based on project scope and regional community needs.
  • Availability of program-specific funding and volunteer support.
  • A commitment to transparency and mutual respect between our team and the recipient.

Repairs provided through this program are prioritized based on safety and structural integrity.

6. DONATIONS & FUNDING

Funding for the Community Repair Program is sourced through direct donations and community-led contributions. True Grit Repairs LLC ensures that:

  • 100% of community-designated donations are applied directly to project materials and essential labor.
  • Donors receive updates on the impact of their contributions where applicable.
  • Financial transparency is maintained regarding the allocation of all community-sourced funds.

If a specific project is overfunded, excess funds will be rolled into the general Community Repair Fund to assist the next project in the queue.

7. COMMUNITY STORIES & PUBLICITY

Storytelling is a vital part of building community trust and encouraging future support. When you participate in the Community Repair Program:

  • We may document progress through photography and written stories to share with donors and the public.
  • Recipients have the right to request anonymity or specify which details remain private.
  • Publicity is used solely to highlight the success of the program and honor those who make the work possible.

Unless explicitly rescinded in writing, participation in the program implies consent to share the broad impact of the project for awareness and fundraising purposes.

3. ESTIMATES, PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • All estimates provided are professional evaluations of scope and are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance.
  • Pricing includes expert labor and standard trade materials; specialized hardware, custom finishes, or non-stock supplies may incur additional costs.
  • Full payment is required immediately upon completion for standard repair services, diagnostics, and small-scale maintenance projects.
  • Late payments are subject to a 5% weekly administrative fee starting 7 days after the invoice date.

4. REMODELING & LARGE PROJECTS

  • Large-scale remodels and construction projects are subject to a structured stage payment schedule to ensure material procurement and project momentum.
  • Initial Deposit: 50% of the total project estimate is due prior to work commencement to secure scheduling and materials.
  • Progress Payment: 30% is due once the project reaches the defined halfway milestone of the agreed scope.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 30% balance must be settled upon final walkthrough and substantial completion.
  • A signed Change Order is strictly required for any additions or modifications to the original project scope.
